Bio
Who I Am
I am a researcher from Minnesota who likes to think deeply about matters like the environment, health, and education. But my research is also firmly anchored by the practical knowledge I gained from over a decade of experience in Corporate America, where I worked with Commercial Analytics, Consumer Insight, Big Data, and Supply Chain divisions across the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Product Goods industries.
My academic training, as well as industry experience, informs the way I teach and do research. I care deeply about students and how well they do in class. I often use examples from my industry experience while teaching in class and working with data. Similarly, my research often has a policy angle to it because practical application to bring about change is very important to me.
